Avoided is an experimental rock one-man music project run by Uchylord from Bratislava, Slovakia. Founded in 2005, Avoided transformed from aggressive noise unit to a genre blending indie effort, inspired by the author's taste in many diverse music styles, including ambient, idm, psychedelic rock, punk, pop and metal.

Avoided contributes frequently to the Slovak local alternative music compilation labeled The Noize Konspiracy.
